We are looking for driven, target-focused individuals to join our team as Direct Collection Agents. Purpose of the Role: The Direct Collection Agent (DCA) plays a pivotal role in promoting and providing advice on our innovative financial solutions. This is a commission-based role, with the primary responsibility of contacting delinquent loan customers to negotiate acceptable repayment plans via telephone, letters, and directly in the field.
Job Details
- Receive a list of loans in arrears and review the status of the accounts on the system.
- Make contact with customers and arrange a collection schedule.
- Contact customers via telephone and post, recording all forms of correspondence for monitoring purposes, in close collaboration with the Recovery Department and Legal Department where necessary.
- Ensure payments from defaulted clients are collected promptly.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports.
- Ensure the availability and accuracy of client records.
- Handle customer complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Effectively manage your own time to ensure improved performance and quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Grade 12 with 25 points or above; a Diploma Banking, or a related field is an added advantage.
- At least 2 years' experience in collections/recoveries within Financial Services.
