Job Summary
To accurately and efficiently process and record customers banking transactions over the counter.
Job Details
Critical Deliverables /Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Process all transactions per internal controls, police and procedures.
- Complete daily reconciliation of transactions to ensure cash on hand/vault cash balances agrees with system/cash account.
- Report counterfeited notes and fraudulent transitions.
- Cross-sell banks products and services and generating leads, providing relevant and appropriate information based on customer needs.
- Ensure end to end teller process, including verification of customer identity.
- Ensure confidentiality of all customer information.
- Support digital banking adoption by assisting customers to register, navigate, and effectively use mobile banking, internet banking.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience required of Job Holder
- Grade 12 (25 points).
- A Diploma in banking/banking related field will be an advantage.
- Understanding of the business operations.
- Basic understanding of digital banking platforms and electronic transaction systems.
- Ability to assist customers with digital channels (mobile banking, internet banking).
